Longshotz Winter League 2025: The Ultimate Player Guide

Winter golf season is heating up at Longshotz! Whether you're a seasoned simulator pro or just looking for some friendly competition to keep your swing sharp, the Longshotz Winter League 2025 is where it’s at. Here’s everything you need to know to get registered, play your best, and make a run for the title.

League Overview

Format:

• 10 rounds × 18 holes each

• Stableford (Net) scoring format

• Top 12 players advance to a live, net stroke-play final

  
  

Order of Merit: Every weekly finish earns points toward the season-long leaderboard — just like the FedEx Cup. Consistency pays!

Divisions:

• Men’s & Ladies divisions

• Same courses and conditions weekly

• Separate tee boxes for each division

  
  

Play Window: Each round must be completed Monday–Sunday (by 11:00 pm).

Groups: Play solo or in groups up to 4. Plan for roughly 1 hour per player per round.

Make-up Rules:

• No retroactive rounds

• You can play ahead if you’ll miss a week

• Each week allows up to 2 attempts — your best score counts

  
  

Bonus Competitions: Weekly Long Drive and Closest to the Pin contests, with prizes announced after the league wraps up!

Booking Tips

Reserve your sim time at least 1 week in advance

• Long-term bookings available with punch cards for extra savings

Order of Merit Points

Your weekly finish determines your point total:

Stableford Scoring (Net)

Score	Points
Eagle	4 pts
Birdie	3 pts
Par	2 pts
Bogey	1 pt
Double Bogey or worse	0 pts

Tie-Break Sequence

1. Highest Stableford round

2. Lowest handicap

3. Back 9 → Last 6 → Last 3 → 18th hole

4. Front 9 → Holes 4–9 → Holes 7–9 → 9th hole

5. Still tied? Prize is shared

Fees

• League fee: $50/player

• Simulator rates: $42 per sim hour (standard Longshotz rate)

• Final (Top 12): Free

• Punch cards: 10-hour card = $70 savings

League Rules

Playing

• Missed read? Replay shot without penalty

• Gimmes: Inside 8.0 ft auto-conceded

• OB: Select “Re-hit”

• No mulligans (unless staff-approved for tech issues)

Attendance

• Miss more than 2 regular-season weeks → not eligible for playoffs

• You may play ahead, but no make-ups after a week closes

  
  

Player Conduct

• Respect all players, staff, and customers

• One warning → removal if unresolved

• Any equipment damage = full replacement cost

• Responsible drinking is welcome — staff can assist with safe rides if needed

  
  

Simulator Issues

• Notify staff if shots aren’t registering

• If a system fails mid-round and can’t be moved, the round may be replayed later at no charge
